And down came the snow…

After days of rain we finally got the snow! White, glittery and making everything look so perfectly tidy. We have thoroughly enjoyed our daily walks on Salisbury Plain where the beautiful ‘white stuff’ made the landscape look like something out of a real fairy tale. Going back to The Old Rectory and snuggling up with a warm cup of tea and a freshly baked flapjack by the roaring log fire – bliss!

Happy New Year everybody!

Dear all,

What a year it has been! Starting Bed and Breakfast here at The Old Rectory Wiltshire has been amazing and we want to say a HUGE ‘Thank you’ to you all for choosing to stay with us. Also for all your positive comments, letters, e-mails – and fantastic reviews on Tripadvisor which means that we are now rated as 7th best B&B in Wiltshire (out of 441!). We are obviously very pleased about this but more so for having met all you wonderful people whether you have been single travellers, couples, families, groups (some of you celebrating special occasions with candlelit dinners in the dining room) – and your seriously lovely dogs too!

We wish you all a fantastic 2013 and hope to see you back here sometime (some of you have already been).

The very warmest wishes from

Helle, David, William – and Teddy!Image
